Nissan in the United Kingdom needed a noise enclosure solution for its fully automated sheet steel pressing system. Sheet steel production and pressing generate a great deal of noise. The company previously operated a manual process.

HIAK handled the assignment in partnership with AP&T. A shared requirement image and specification was prepared with the parties involved, with the emphasis on safety and the working environment, given that the loading/unloading process and the opening/closing processes are fully automatic.

The enclosure covers 2,350 m² and has reduced noise levels by 15 dB(A).
