How the fresh air vent came to life

This revolutionary fresh air vent was developed in response to the Swedish Transport Administration’s need for effective noise reduction in homes located along railways and highways. They needed a vent with high noise reduction and sufficient airflow. After looking for it in the European, Japanese, and US markets without success, they announced a public innovation procurement after exploring markets. HIAK won the contract and created the NonSonus FLV 65.

The fresh air vent is tested by the accredited laboratory RISE AB, according to the latest standards EN 10140-2 and EN 13141-1. . (RISE = formerly the Swedish National Testing and Research Institute).
