HIAK was tasked with developing several steam silencers for Iggesund Paperboard. We observed that multiple steam sources could be channeled into the same sound attenuator, thereby reducing the number of attenuators needed, which resulted in a lower overall cost for the entire project.

HIAK acoustically dimensioned the silencers, created drawing documentation and manufacturing specifications, and manufactured and installed the sound attenuators.
